Theresa Herbold

Theresa Herbold, Agricultural Economist by training, works as a senior policy officer at the division “Food and nutrition security, Fisheries” at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). She is also the gender focal point of her division and knows firsthand how crucial it is to strengthen women in agriculture and food systems. Theresa’s vision is to build multi-sectoral, multi-level interventions that start from the community and echo up to the global stage.
