Dr. Eileen Nchanji

Dr. Eileen Nchanji works in the bean program at the Alliance of Bioversity International and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) . She grew up in a home where girls and boys were treated equally and was shocked to discover in adulthood an outside world which expected her to be “less” because she was a woman. Today she advocates for what she calls "social-technical innovation bundles": bringing together access to technology with finance, legal literacy, and social transformation.
